Marine surveying, technical expertise and professional reports to help you buy, insure or value your boat with confidence.
Your boat deserves real expertise
Buying or owning a boat is a significant investment. My role is to give you an objective picture of its condition, its systems and any factors that may affect its value or use.
Each survey is conducted independently, methodically and thoroughly documented. I take the time to examine the boat as a whole and clearly explain the important findings.

Our approach
A good survey should help you understand the boat, not just accumulate observations.
Structured examination of the boat, from hull to accessible systems.
Clear findings, photographs and relevant file information.
Important items are explained in understandable language.
Findings are put in context to distinguish the important from the secondary.
Marine expertise
The survey covers the entire boat and, when conditions allow, the main accessible systems: structure, engine, electrical, plumbing, propane, safety equipment, rigging and other relevant components.
Hull, deck, hull-to-deck joint, keel, rudder and accessible structural elements.
Engine, installation, fuel, exhaust, cooling and related systems.
Batteries, distribution, accessible wiring, charging and main electrical installations.
Plumbing, tanks, pumps, propane, equipment and accessible installations.

About
Independent marine surveyor, passionate about boats and how they work.
Sailboat owner since 2006, I have sailed on Lake Champlain, in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, including the Heineken Regatta in St. Martin. This sailing experience, combined with nineteen years as a senior instrumentation and control technician (1995-2014) and several years as a property owner, has given me a technical and practical understanding of complex systems — which I now apply to each survey.
I have been conducting marine surveys since 2021. My goal is simple: to provide you with a professional, objective and useful assessment, presented in a clear report that allows you to quickly understand the boat's condition and the points that deserve your attention.
Every boat is different. That's why the survey takes into account its age, construction, use, equipment and particular context.
